‭ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE‬ FIRE ISLAND PINES FIRE DISTRICT‬ - JULY 8, 2025‬

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Fire Island Pines Fire District will‬ take place on July 8, 2025, between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. at the Fire Island Pines Firehouse, located at 34 Fire Island Pines Boulevard, Fire Island Pines, New York, for the‬ purpose of electing:‬
 

‭One (1) Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing on January 1, 2026 and‬ ending on December 31, 2030.‬
 

‭Candidates for the District Office of Commissioner shall file their name with the‬ Secretary of the Fire District Office, 34 Fire Island Pines Boulevard, Fire Island Pines, NY, no‬ later than 3:00 P.M. on or before June 18th, 2025. Such filing must contain the name and‬ address of the candidate (the candidate’s legal residence, not a P.O. Box), must also be signed‬ by the candidate.‬
 

‭All residents of the Fire District who shall have resided in the Fire District for the period‬ of thirty days next preceding the day of the Annual Election and who were duly registered with‬ the Suffolk County Board of Elections on or before 23 days prior to the date of the Annual‬ Election shall be eligible to vote at said Annual Election.‬
